Sage is the latest release of the desktop version of Sage 300. It has added enhancements based on the many requests made by customers.  It is available for download to current Sage Support Number customers that are up-to-date on their maintenance plan (Sage Business Care).

Sage is the initial release of Sage’s next-generation cloud and mobile-enhanced product.  We were told by Sage’s Seamanship Palsied at Sage’s Worldwide Summit conference this summer in New Orleans that the “c” stood for “Connected, Collaborative and Customer-focused” and it “would give you the freedom to stay with the trusted solution you’ve counted on for years and the confidence to leverage new technology at your own pace without disrupting your business.”

This translates to a new series of web-based screens that run in parallel with the classic Sage 300 desktop screens, giving everyone who uses Sage 300 freedom to Sage Tech Support Phone Number choose the interface that best suits their needs while using the same database and business logic.   Therefore, Sage features the same capabilities of Sage 300 but with the new benefits of mobility, anytime/anywhere access, and a modern new user interface that can be used in conjunction with the desktop version.  It can be accessed on any device (desktop, laptop, tablet), and on any OS (Windows, Mac, /Android) securely through your browser!

Bottom line…if you’re a current customer, you can choose to upgrade to the next-generation cloud and mobile-enhanced product, or continue on the simpler and less expensive upgrade of the current product.

If you’re a prospective customer, you can choose to sign up for Sage on a monthly/yearly subscription with a one-time activation fee or order the “classic” desktop version of Sage Technical through standard purchasing options (Monthly Subscription, Capital Purchase, Lease, Online monthly subscription).

In our ongoing efforts to keep our Sage community apprised of key information, we wanted to let organization’s using the Sage 300 Payroll module know of some changes that will impact their ability to generate an accurate, up-to-date payroll in the new year.

First thing you want to do is check your Payroll version in Sage 300 by going to Help ► System Information.  Then consider the following:

If you’re using Payroll version 6.0 or prior (which could include some installations of Sage 300 6.1/ and all prior Sage 300 versions) you should be looking to upgrade your Sage 300 system Dell Printer Tech Support Phone Number by December 31,to continue to receive tax table updates.

If you’re using Payroll versions 7.0 and 7.1 (which would include some installations of Sage 300 version ) will simply need to upgrade their Payroll module to 7.2 prior to installing the new tax tables.

As for those of you planning to upgrade to the exciting new version being released in early November, it will have 7.2 Payroll included.
